• I'm a seasoned speaker, is this too "beginner" for me?

I like the saying "when you stop learning, you stop growing." The fact is, everything is changing so quickly – and in our industry in particular – that there is ALWAYS a better strategy and new tactics to do more of what you love (and generate better results). At this event we will be focusing on all sorts of business development practices, as well as signature event strategies that even well-established speakers can use. If you already have success, you will be able to implement the learning to create even more success. You will absolutely walk away with value, and because you have an established business and brand, you will likely be able to implement much quicker than a beginner would. Also, remember we guarantee our event – so we are committed to delivering you great value for your time and monetary investment, the risk is on us!

  • I’m just starting out and I’m not quite sure if I’m ready for all of this. Is this event right for me?

There are a lot of misconceptions around what it takes to “be ready” to jump in. The fact is, you need to push yourself and stretch yourself, especially in the beginning. Surrounding yourself with people who are ahead of you is the surest way to accelerate your own growth. And if you think you're not ready for your own event, then know this: it was my signature event (the Summit) that catapulted my career. Having your first "live" event (even if it's a smaller or mid-sized event) is THE fastest way, bar none, to have a quantum leap in your credibility and your business results. And the best way to “be ready” is to know exactly what you need to do (and what you don’t need to do), and have a simple plan with clear steps to get you there. If I had a dollar for every time someone said to me, “Michelle, I’m not quite ready now, but the ‘next’ time you offer something, I’ll be ready...” only to run into them a year later and discover they are in the EXACT same place they were before... well, let's just say, it would be a huge pile of dollar bills. Don’t get me wrong; this all takes work. But with some committed, focused energy and the proven formulas that my experts and I will share with you, not to mention the people you'll meet, you're WAY increasing your odds of experiencing HUGE success.

  • I already have my own successful signature event(s), so what will I learn here?

I’m glad you asked! I just hung up the phone with an experienced entrepreneur who has been holding her own live events for years. Her frustration? "It's so hard to fill the room." Another long-time speaker I conducted a deep-dive session with last week said: “I wish I could land some national sponsors for my local event.” And yet another: "My events are so much work – and I don't know if they're worth it." The lesson: We ALL face challenges, and everyone has room for bigger, better results. And usually, it's just one or two big shifts that can make all the difference in the world. Problem is, we don't always take the time to do that big picture strategic thinking and planning to implement those shifts. The material we're covering at the Superstar Speaker Academy is literally designed to create those massive shifts, for any speaker, author, coach or consultant, and give them the steps to implement. We're going to be sharing advanced strategies to help you avoid the biggest frustrations and roadblocks that speakers, authors, coaches and consultants make when creating signature events — everything from filling the room to landing sponsorships to choosing speakers to maintaining price integrity to how to sell from the stage (without being pushy or sales-y). Our objective is to teach you how to have attendees, prospects, clients, meeting planners and sponsors banging down your door!

  • Can I bring a guest?

YES! After you’ve secured your own seat, we’ll send you the link to secure a seat for your business partner, assistant, colleague or friend for just $97 for General Admission (prices go up to $147 after May 15th and to $247 after June 5th). I've personally found that it helps me to bring someone when I go to professional development trainings, particularly a colleague who's at my level or HIGHER. Why? Because we can bounce ideas off of each other and I can get good feedback about how to implement what I'm learning.

  • I can’t make it. Are you doing another one of these? Or webcasting it? Or turning it into a product?

We are NOT live-casting this event. And we are NOT turning it into a home study product. As to whether we will do it again in 2016, I can’t say yet.
