It’s been such a whirlwind since last Summer when I first met Michelle. Before that, I had passion and ideas, but there was no movement, no momentum and nothing concrete. I was doing breast cancer coaching and struggling to identify my unique personal brand as a speaker, author and coach.

As crazy as it sounds, within 15 minutes of talking to Michelle, she had me pegged, she GOT me. She was able to interpret my emotions and story (as a veteran) and very quickly weave it into a personal brand and message: “Heart of a Fighter. Soul of a Woman. Body of a Survivor.” This simple phrase has become the cornerstone of my public identity. The work I did with Michelle grounded me, while capturing the playfulness of who I am and what I do. This gave me passion and a focused momentum that hadn’t existed before. She turned my ideas into something solid and real.

I thought I was on the right track to run a business, but there was no emotion in my business. Michelle showed me how to intertwine the purpose with the business – and to do it with emotion, and the result has been incredible.

From the work I did with Michelle, I launched my nonprofit: Heart of a Fighter, which has now become a nationwide movement to help women veterans, for example, we help homeless women veterans with counseling and training. We also started taking charitable real estate donations and I’ve just had 10 properties donated to my charity, where we’ll house the women we’re helping. We’re also bringing in veterans who have strategic business skills to run through a bootcamp and a 6-month business program. My dream is to rebuild America through women-veteran owned businesses. And everything is now happening so easily – the donations, the attention, the interest. It’s incredible. And I know it sounds silly, but I never knew work could be so much fun! We’re doing a whole lot of good stuff – and every time I say it, it reminds me of Michelle because it all goes back to the message and the story that we identified as my core brand.

Michelle has such a gift to give people, I highly recommend that anyone take advantage of anything that she’s offering.
